Join us for a tree planting in the Glen on Friday, October 10th, from 12-5pm, and complete your student group service hours conveniently on campus!
There are 26 trees that need your help to find their new homes in the Glen. If we finish planting trees before the end of the event, we’ll be chipping a new trail, pulling the invasive species English Ivy, and/or doing trash pickup.
We’ll be meeting at the stone picnic table in the center of the Glen. If you can’t make it until later, we’ll be working in that area, so come when you can and join in!
Dress for outdoor work and to guard against any poison ivy (long sleeves/long pants). Bringing a raincoat or poncho is advisable as there is a chance of rain. Work gloves, tools, garbage bags, and snacks will be provided.
