Benefits Bulletin: Paycheck Changes for Regular Faculty & Staff Employees

All regular faculty and staff employees are reminded that payroll deductions for all Maryland State insurance coverage and flexible spending accounts are only taken 24 times each calendar year.

Towson University has been notified of two additional pay periods when deductions will  NOT occur for Health, Prescription and Dental plans only:  paycheck dated 4/09/14 for pay period ending 4/01/14 and paycheck dated 4/23/14, for pay period ending 4/15/14.   The new Regular Payroll Deduction Schedule can be viewed on the Benefits web site:

For those eligible for merit, the premium holidays will coincide with the merit increase. As a result, you will notice a fluctuation in your net pay for the next few pay periods.
