The mission of the Presidential Ambassadors program is to support Towson University’s strategic plan by connecting students with the university’s key constituents including alumni, donors, business and community leaders, elected and appointed officials, and friends
By sharing their unique stories, presidential ambassadors help to enhance the public’s understanding of the university and demonstrate the direct impact of philanthropic contributions on the university’s growth and success.
Member Responsibilities
- Host Presidential and other events aimed to advance the university
- Serve as ad hoc focus group for campus leadership
- Plan activities that promote pride, loyalty, traditions and a culture of philanthropy on campus

Qualifications
- Applicants must demonstrate integrity, dedication, enthusiasm, leadership and knowledge of Towson University.
- Applicants must be able and willing to represent the university with pride and adhere to the requirements of the Presidential Ambassadors Program.
- Undergraduate applicants must have a junior or senior class standing in the academic year for which they are applying.
- Transfer students must have completed at least one full semester at Towson University. Graduate Students must have completed at least one semester at Towson University, either as an undergraduate or graduate.
- Applicants must have and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
- Selected applicants must commit to serve a minimum of one year.
- Applicant must be able to attend the following:
- Induction: May 13, 2014
- Orientation: August 26, 201
- Monthly meetings during the Fall and Spring semesters: 2nd Wednesday of every month from 3:30-5:30pm
