News Doc Each semester TU faculty members have integrated the New York Times, USA Today and the Baltimore Sun into classroom curriculum.

Copies of the New York Times, USA Today and the Baltimore Sun newspapers are available for FREE to students, faculty and staff at 12 locations across campus from Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters.

There is also access to the New York Times by visiting: www.nytimes.com/passes.

Faculty who specifically include the NY Times into their course syllabus will receive FREE home delivery of the New York Times, Monday through Friday as well as FREE access to NYTimes.com during the semester.

Integration of the newspapers into your course curriculum allows for discussion and reflection on topics that have direct impact on the students, from social issues and new technology to the global economy and career opportunities. Promoting Civic Engagement is a university priority that is captured in the Towson University 2020 plan.

To participate in the program, please send the following information:

    • For assessment purposes, we will be administering a short 8 minute survey. Please send us a date in the last 2 weeks of the semester that will work for you when we can come to your course and administer the survey.
    • If you are specifically using the New York Times in a course, include the mailing address you would like the New York Times sent to.
