Come help us plant new trees and save old trees from English ivy in the Glen TODAY, Friday, October 18 from noon to 5 p.m.!
This is a great opportunity to get your student group service hours out of the way conveniently on campus.
We have a large shipment of native saplings that need your help to find new homes in the Glen. If you’re interested in relieving some stress and saving some trees, we’ll also be pulling and cutting English ivy.
We’ll be meeting in the Glen under the bridge that goes to the Towers at noon. If you can’t make it until later, there will be groups working all over the Glen, so come when you can, find a group and join in!
Dress for outdoor work and to guard against any poison ivy (long sleeves/long pants). Work gloves, tools and snacks will be provided.
