While the current university schedule includes a closure on the 4th of July holiday, the decision has been made that TU will also be closed on Friday, July 5. Administratively, timesheets for all regular, non-facilities/police staff employees, 12-month faculty, librarians and contingent II staff will be prepopulated to reflect the additional closure. Facilities and police staff employees will be given an additional holiday which will be reflected on their leave statement for pay period ending 7/9/13. Employees who are not normally scheduled to work on Friday, July 5, 2013 must manually delete the holiday hours that appear for July 5; those hours can be used before January 7, 2014, with supervisory approval. Other non-facilities/police staff employees who will work on July 5 must also manually delete the holiday hours that appear for that day. Those hours can be used before January 7, 2014, with supervisory approval.
