The Towson University Bursar’s Office is pleased to announce that Visa branded credit cards will now be accepted as a new payment option beginning on or around April 17, 2013 by the university’s third party provider TouchNet. This change is a result of Visa recently updating their policy regarding an educational institution’s ability to assess a percentage rate convenience fee for payments. Along with Visa, TouchNet will continue to accept Discover, MasterCard and American Express for credit card payments completed online to satisfy your eBill balance.
The same 2.75 percent fee is charged regardless of which credit card you use.
As always, you can avoid a service fee when paying by check, whether it is an electronic check through your TU account or a paper check sent to us.
