Peer Educator Applications Open!

Do you have the desire to get involved and make a difference? Consider becoming a Peer Educator and receive training to teach others about issues related to mental health.

The Counseling Center is looking for motivated and energetic students to join our Sexual Assault Awareness Peer Educators and the Drug and Alcohol Awareness Peer Educators. You will have the opportunity to meet other students, develop your public speaking and presentation skills and build your résumé.

Ideal candidates are freshmen and sophomores (or those with at least two years left at TU) who are 1) motivated and energetic, 2) strong public speakers, and 3) want to help others and improve our community. Students must be available Friday afternoons for training during the fall semester.

To apply or learn more about the Counseling Center’s Peer Education program, go to our website.

Applications are due by April 12. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Sheila Graham, 410-704-2512.
