EXPERIENCE – EDUCATION–CONNECTIONS—SERVICE
The University Advancement Division in partnership with the Office of the President, is seeking highly-skilled and experienced student leaders to serve the university on a volunteer basis for the 2013-2014 academic year. This unique leadership development opportunity will connect selected students with TU alumni, donors, faculty, staff and friends at special events and other advancement activities.
By serving as hosts at presidential and other significant university events, Presidential Ambassadors will showcase the quality, diversity and spirit of our student body and foster a campus culture of pride, tradition and a lifetime commitment to TU. They will help to enhance the public’s understanding of the university and demonstrate the direct impact of philanthropic contributions that are vital to our growth and success.
Qualifications
- Applicants must demonstrate integrity, dedication, enthusiasm, leadership and knowledge of Towson University.
- Applicants must be able and willing to represent the university with pride and adhere to the requirements of the Presidential Ambassadors Program.
Application Requirements
- Applicants must have a junior or senior class standing in the academic year for which they are applying. Transfer students must have completed at least one full semester at Towson University.
- Applicants must have and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
- Selected applicants must commit to serve a minimum of one academic year.
- Applicants for the 2013-2014 academic year must complete and submit a Presidential Ambassadors Application by 4 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013.
