Sex and Polar Bears?

SexOUTLoud!, Towson University’s premier sex-positive student organization is hosting an on-campus Polar Bear Plunge entitled “Polar Bear Plunge for PLASE” this coming week. As a part of this fundraiser, professional staff at Towson University will pledge to take the plunge into a kiddy pool full of icy cold water for 1 minute for every $5 donated in their name to Project PLASE (the more raised, the longer the plunge!).

Project PLASE is a Baltimore-based, non-profit shelter which serves the most vulnerable among Baltimore’s homeless population by providing transitional and permanent homes and support services, and whose efforts SexOUTLoud! is extremely excited to support.

The Plunge will take place on Wednesday, 12/5 at 12:30 p.m. at the Prettyman/Scarborough Halls courtyard (on the Towsontown or “Oldside” side of campus)!

There will be collection jars for each participating staff member in the 2nd floor lobby of the University Union on Monday and Tuesday, 12/3 and 12/4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m..
100% of all donations made go directly to Project PLASE and the programs they maintain.
Cash, checks, and credit cards will all be accepted.
