On Thursday, March 31, 2011, the Mathematics Department will host a lecture by Dr. Mike Mihalik, Professor of Mathematics at Vanderbilt University. The lecture, entitled “Commensurators and quasi-normal subgroups of groups” will take place at 4:00 p.m. in YR 320. Refreshments at 3:30 p.m. will precede the talk.
