Come check out the SUKKAH on PAWS lawn between September 30th and October 9th. What is a Sukkah? A Sukkah is a temporary dwelling built during the Jewish Holiday of Sukkot. The Sukkah takes us back to times in ancient Israel when Jews would build huts near the edges of their fields during the harvest season. It is common for Jews to eat, sleep and otherwise spend time in the Sukkah. If you are interested in attending Shabbat dinner in the Sukkah on Friday, October 5th at 7 p.m. please contact Darlene at {dsiegel@towson.edu} . There will be optional services held at 6 p.m. at the Sukkah as well. Students, payment for the meal will be taken by a swipe of your ONE CARD. There will be two free snack time events held in the Sukkah during the Festival. Join us on either Wednesday, October 4th and/or Thursday, October 5th from 11 to 2 p.m. for cookies, sweets and light refreshments. For more information go to {www.towsonhillel.org}
