Attention Presidents and Vice-Presidents of Student Groups
The Student Government Association is constantly striving to empower student group leaders, so that the student experience here on campus will be all the better. We have found that social events play a major role in how much students enjoy Tiger Town. Knowing this, we at the SGA have decided to hold a seminar on event planning and the art of co-sponsorship for our student group leaders so that they will be better equipped to plan activities that students here at Towson will enjoy, and talk about for years to come.
This seminar will give insight into how to schedule events, go through the intensive process of planning an event efficiently and most importantly, the seminar will familiarize you with the benefits of co- sponsorship and give you creative ways to plan activities with other student organizations. Lunch will be served and there will be an award for those student groups who are able to work together to plan the best event!
The seminar is scheduled to be held in the Potomac Lounge on Friday, November 18th, and will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP at {ftahir2@towson.edu} by Monday, November 7th and title your email “Exec Luncheon”.
