Towson University?s Canned Food Invasion is coming!
How can you help?
1. If you are involved in an organization affiliated with the SGA you can participate in the competition among organizations. The organization that donates the most nonperishable items will win $300! To participate please sign up in the SGA office, University Union 226. The canned food invasion will take place from November 10th-14th. Organizations can drop food off in the SGA office on the following dates & times:
November 10th 11-2pm
November 12th 2-4pm
November 13th 10-2pm
*These are the only times food can be dropped off for organizations participating in the competition.
2. If you are not involved in an SGA affiliated organization, you may still donate items!
Receptacles will be located in Linthicum, Stephens, Center for the Arts, and Smith Hall. You may drop off items during the week of November 10th!
3. You may also donate food at Cab?s Sex & The City event on November 5th at 7:30 in the Chesapeake?s. At this event author, Candace Bushnell will be speaking. Receptacles will be available at this event for donations!
Thank you for participating in the Towson University Canned Food Invasion! All donations will be given to the Maryland Food Bank!
