Should Police Mug Shots be Made Public?

The Towson University and Maryland Professional Chapters of the Society of Professional Journalists present a panel discussion March 30 at 7 p.m. in 312 Lida Lee Tall on media access to police mug shots and other public safety information. Panelists will include Bill Toohey, Public Affairs Director for the Baltimore County Police Department; John Rydell, reporter for Fox 45; and Byron Warnken, law professor from University of Baltimore and a trial lawyer.
