To mark the 50 year anniversary of this landmark decision,
Towson University will be hosting a discussion panel,including esteemed speakers Mark Whitman (TU History Professor), Moses Newson (Reporter and Editor of the Baltimore Afro-American), George Moore (Retired French teacher and administrator in Baltimore County Schools), Consuella Wilder (Retired History teacher in Baltimore County Schools), and Gloria Scott (one of TU’s first African American Alumnae). The event will be held April 14th 2004 from 4 p.m.to 6 p.m. in the Potomac Lounge of the University Union, 2nd Floor. Refreshments will be served! All are welcome to attend!
