Mock Law School class with a Professor from the University of Maryland School of Law

On Monday, April 27th in LI 113 at 5pm Towson Pre-Law Society will be hosting a Mock Law School Class taught by University of Maryland School of Law Professor Condlin.

All those in attendance should complete the following questions from Nix v. Whiteside previous to class:
NIX v. WHITESIDE
Certiorari to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit
1) State the legally relevant facts of the case in the most succinct terms possible;
2) Describe the precise issue before the Court;
3) Identify the legal rule used by the Court to resolve the case and describe the elements of that rule;
4) Point out any inconsistencies, contradictions and disingenuous conclusions in the Court’s reasoning; and
5) Say whether they agree or disagree with the Court’s conclusion and why.
