Beginning this August, electronics recycling containers were placed in every lobby of every campus residence hall. The bins have two separate compartments?one for printer cartridges and one for all other electronics, including the following:
Cords
Cell Phones
Cameras
Computers
Hard drives (we suggest you wipe them of information first)
Curling irons, hair dryers, etc.
Video games
Basically, anything that uses a plug or a battery can be recycled in the RecycALL Plus containers. All regular single stream materials like bottles, cans, paper, cardboard and nearly all dining hall materials can be recycled in any regular RecycALL container. Faculty and staff wishing to recycle university-owned electronics should do so through the Materiel Management Office.
