We will be chalking our country’s flags under the lecture hall.
TUESDAY: PRE-EXPLOSION CELEBRATION
5 p.m., University Union Paws
Come celebrate your countries, play games, win prizes and chill with ADC as we celebrate before the MAIN EVENT on Saturday!
WEDNESDAY: HUMAN RIGHTS AWARENESS DAY
2-5 p.m., University Union Potomac Lounge
Come join ADC and other student organizations as we raise awareness about different causes. ADC will be raising money for the women at the Panzi Hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo who have been affected during the war.
THURSDAY: AFRICA OPEN FOR BUSINESS
11 a.m. – 2 p.m., University Union
We will be tabling in the Union, showing the documentary and selling NEW ADC T-SHIRTS!
SATURDAY: THE MAIN EVENT…THE AFRICAN EXPLOSION
4 p.m., University Union Potomac Lounge (Dinner)
6:30 p.m., University Union Chesapeake Rooms (Show)
“A Night of Enchantment: A Royal Affair”
Come join us as we share with the Towson community our cultures and countries by taking you through a journey of Ancient Africa to Modern Africa. Come for a night of FASHION, MUSIC, PERFORMANCE, DANCE, POETRY, ACTING, DINNER and most of all, our FUNDRAISING event, where we open your hearts to women and girls affected by war. This is a FREE event and all are welcome!
