International Insurance Waivers Due!

Welcome New and Returning International Students!
All International Students on F- AND J- VISAS are REQUIRED to have health insurance while they are at Towson University that meets our minimum standards. International students with F- and J- visas are automatically enrolled in the Towson-sponsored student health insurance plan (SHIP). The cost of the insurance is charged to their university tuition account.
WAIVER DEADLINE SEPTEMBER 15!
If you already have health insurance that meets the University?s standards and wish to waive out of the TU-sponsored plan, you are required to submit a waiver form with a copy of your health insurance policy and a copy of both sides of your insurance card to Dowell Health Center NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 15. Applications submitted after September 15 or lacking the appropriate documentation WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED and NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

If your waiver is approved, your university account will be credited the amount of the insurance charge.
RETURNING STUDENTS: Even if you had a waiver approved last academic year, you must submit a new waiver every fall term by the September 15 deadline or you will be enrolled and billed for the student insurance plan.
