HIRE@TU UPDATES: NEW LOGIN URL & SIGN-IN PROCEDURES

There have been some exciting changes over at the Towson University Career Center and that includes a new and improved Hire@TU! In addition to many new upgrades, we are making it easier than ever to login and maintain your profile. Starting November 29th, you will be able to login to your Hire@TU account using your Towson University NetID and password. Additionally, much of your account information will now be imported from the Registrar, so you will always have an accurate and up-to-date profile.

Below is a list of FAQ?s to help you through this transition. However, please feel free to contact the Career Center at 410-704-2233 or {careercenter@towson.edu} for any additional questions. Enjoy the new and improved Hire@TU!

STUDENT HIRE@TU FAQs (Effective November 29th)

1. How do I login to Hire@TU?
? Beginning November 29th, to login to your account, please visit it the NEW student login page: {https://www.myinterfase.com/towson/student/secure}. Be sure to bookmark this new URL.
? Enter your Towson University NetID and password.

2. What if I forget my Towson NetID and password?
? Contact Student Computing Services Desk at {scs@towson.edu} or 410-704-5151.

3. Can I still use my old Hire@TU login?
? No. After November 29th you will only be able to login to Hire@TU using your NetID and password.

4. Why can?t I change most of my profile information?
? Your profile information is updated nightly with data provided by the Registrar. As a result, if there is something you would like to change in your profile (i.e., major, residence) or notice any inconsistencies, please contact the Registrar at 410-704-2701. Once the changes have been made in the Registrar?s file, it will be updated accordingly within your Hire@TU account.

5.What fields are being imported from the Registrar into my Hire@TU profile?
? Towson ID #
? Towson Email Address
? First Name
? Middle Name
? Last Name
? Classification (Year in School)
? Residence
? Transfer Status
? Gender
? GPA
? Degree(s)
? Major(s)
? Concentration (s)
? Minor(s)

6. I have a resume and/or have registered for events in my current Hire@TU account. Will
this information be maintained during this transition?

? Yes. The only information in your account that will change will be the above mentioned profile fields being imported via the Registrar into your Hire@TU profile.

7. I am actually an alumni. Where do I login?
? As alumni, your Hire@TU login process will stay the same. To login to your account, please visit the Hire@TU alumni page: {https://www.myinterfase.com/towson/student/} and login with the same Hire@TU username and password that you used previously. Please note that starting on November 29, 2011; alumni will have to proactively contact the Career Center at {careercenter@towson.edu} to request reactivation of their Hire@TU account.
