The Wellness and Self Care Peer Educators work with each other, the Counseling Center staff and the Dowell Health Center’s Health Educators to develop workshops and programs to promote wellness across campus. Students are encouraged to develop programs in areas in which they have particular interest and/or see a campus need. They will participate in and develop skills in needs assessment, program development and evaluation. The Peer Educators cover topics such as: stress management, good sleeping patterns, exercise, time management, tobacco use, shyness, and depression. We meet every two weeks and support each other?s projects and ideas.
