Today is the last day to register for the third annual Lunch ‘n’ Listen, co-sponsored by the TU chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and a PAW grant. The FREE day-long event gives students an opportunity to network with professional journalists from the Baltimore area and discuss a variety of topics that include writing for online media, recognizing bias in the media, getting your first journalism job, learning about careers in journalism, and preparing a successful portfolio.
Lunch ‘n’ Listen will be held in the Chesapeake Rooms of the University Union on Saturday, March 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Breakfast and lunch are included.
The TU chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists meets Tuesdays at 6 p.m. in MC 203.
