Campus Activities Board Director Applications Available

Are you interested in leading one of the most exciting student organizations on campus?

The Campus Activities Board is looking for a new Director for 2005-2006. Leadership experience is required, programming experience is preferred.

Applications are currently available in the Office of Student Activities and are due to Jason Heiserman by February 25, 2005.

The job description is as follows:

Serve as the Director of Campus Activities for the Student Government Association and attend all required SGA meetings and activities
Serve as the CAB spokesperson to the campus and outside community
Oversee organization, professionalism and cleanliness of the office
Assure that the office is appropriately staffed
Lead weekly meetings
Prepare all meeting agendas
Create the organizational budget and make adjustments as needed
Manage Co-Sponsorship requests
Track all petty cash and advance disbursements
Serve on the PAW Grant Committee
Coordinate Professional Development opportunities including NACA Conferences
Plan retreats and ongoing training opportunities
Maintain a minimum of 10 office hours per week
Meet weekly with CAB Advisor, Graduate Assistant, and Assistant Director
Request supplies as needed
Ensure that CAB completes an annual contact form and has a current constitution on file with the SGA
Register CAB for all Student Involvement Fairs and additional University tabling opportunities
*The Director does not have voting privileges
