The African Diaspora Club is cordially inviting you to its annual cultural celebration themed “African Explosion: Blazing the Flames of Great Nations”.
The festival will be held on Saturday, November 20th from 7-11pm in the
Chesapeake Rooms of the University Union.
“African Explosion: Blazing the Flames of Great Nations” will serve as an opportunity for us African students to celebrate our beautiful heritage, and to educate the Towson community about the richness and diversity of African countries and cultures. The festival will be a showcase of African music, fashion, dances, poetry, presentation, and cuisine.
As part of the events, we will be raising funds in support of the worldwide mobilization against the current crisis in Sudan. The funds raised will go to Doctors Without Borders, an internationally renowned humanitarian relief organization, for its efforts in Sudan.
