On May 20, 2005 at 3pm in Stephens Hall, the College of Liberal Arts will hold an Awards Convocation to honor students and faculty. We would like to invite CLA graduating seniors to participate in the process of identifying Professors who will be honored.
During NEXT week’s SGA Election, students slated to graduate in May will be able to identify the faculty to be honored. Just participate in the SGA Election (Monday, April 18 and Tuesday, April 19th) by visiting {https://eballot.votenet.com/towson/} use your Student ID number as your username and your birthday as your password. After you vote for the students running for SGA office – you will automatically be directed to another screen that will ask you to identify the professors you want honored.
Professors from the following departments are eligible for nomination: English, Family Studies and Gerontology, Geography, History, Modern Languages, Philosophy & Religious Studies, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice and Anthropology, and Women’s Studies.
The two questions will be:
1. Please name the College of Liberal Arts Professor who during your Towson experience changed your life and the way you see the world.
2. Please name the College of Liberal Arts Professor who you consider to be the best teacher of your TU experience.
