Invitations to join Kappa Delta Pi, an International Honor Society in Education, have been mailed.

Invitations to join Kappa Delta Pi have been mailed to undergraduate teacher education students, including K-12 programs, and College of Education master?s and doctoral students with a GPA of 3.5 and above. The invitations have been mailed to the primary address on the PeopleSoft system. If you meet the above qualifications and have not received an invitation, you may pick up a packet in Hawkins Hall 304, or email Susan Turnbaugh, sturnbaugh@towson.edu, to receive a packet (be sure to include your current address).

Initiation ceremonies will be held on the Towson University campus, as well as at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center and the Universities at Shady Grove Center.

If you are a current Kadelpian, or will be initiated this year, and are an undergraduate student who will be enrolled in classes during the 2007-2008 academic year, you may apply for the Edna May Merson/Kappa Delta Pi Scholarship. Or, if you are a graduate student who will graduate in May 2007 or during the 2007-2008 academic year, you may apply for the Marilyn L. Nicholas/Kappa Delta Pi Professional Development Scholarship.
