Freshmen commuter students (those with less than 30 credits) and non-degree students will be assigned parking at off campus county garages. Please adhere to the following guidelines regarding parking at the County garages:
– You are only eligible to purchase a permit to park at the Chesapeake or Tolbert garages located in the downtown Towson area. These garages are a short distance from TU?s campus.
– Chesapeake and Tolbert permits are NOT valid anywhere on campus prior to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. After 3 p.m. you may park on campus (with the permit displayed) in Commuter spaces or Faculty/Staff lots after the posted hours.
– Free shuttle service will be provided from each garage to the campus; you must present your OneCard (TU ID) to the driver in order to board the bus. Schedules, route maps and stop locations may be found on the Parking & Transportation web site.
– When entering the Chesapeake and Tolbert garage, take a ticket. When exiting the garage, give the ticket to the attendant and display the permit as payment.
