TOWSON UNIVERSITY MARCHING BAND
Director, John Miliauskas
{jmiliauskas@towson.edu}
(410) 704-5449

Membership in the marching band is open to all Towson University students, including non-music majors. Instrumentalists and guard members of all ability levels are welcome in the marching band this fall! The main requirement is a strong desire to be part of an energized university marching band!

The university is making a strong commitment to build its marching band to live up to a higher level of collegiate football now that Towson has joined the Atlantic 10 Conference. Financial support from the University is creating many exciting changes for the marching band. For example, all participating members of this coming year’s marching band will be receiving a $500 stipend for the fall semester. Additional stipends will also be available in the spring semester for Pep Band participation. The band will be wearing new uniforms this September, and over the next few years we will be purchasing many new instruments.

Our goal is to develop a highly school-spirited and classy organization whose performances will be entertaining for football games, yet interesting in the marching band world. More detailed information about the instructional staff and other aspects of this organization can be found on our website at {wwwnew.towson.edu/bands}. Feel free to contact John Miliauskas through email at {jmiliauskas@towson.edu} or by phone at 410.704.5449 if you would like more information or have any questions about THE Towson University TIGER Marching Band!
