With the start of a new semester, please remember that Towson University has a new tobacco policy in effect for the entire campus community. Smoking is prohibited within 30 feet of building entrances, overhangs, porches and vestibules, except where smoking areas are specifically designated.
This policy relies on the thoughtfulness, cooperation and consideration of smokers and non-smokers alike. It is the responsibility of the Towson University community to observe this policy and to direct those who are smoking to the appropriate designated smoking areas. Concerns regarding violations of this policy should be referred to the appropriate Dean, Vice President, Director, Chairperson or Building Manager.
