Got Ink? Recycling Initiative to Benefit the Student Day Care Center

Is that Ink Jet cartridge in your printer finally running out of ink from all of the papers you have had to write this semester?

Is your old cell phone so outdated that you have replaced it with one that has more features?

If you have answered yes to either one or both of these questions then you have a wonderful opportunity to help the children at the Student Day Care Center obtain new playground equipment and classroom supplies! By recycling old printer cartridges and cell phones you help the Center earn points toward new supplies and equipment. To date, the Center has already obtained several new pieces for their playground.

With little effort on your part, you can continue the success of this recycling program. Simply bring your used cartridge or old cell phone to the Community Center in your residence hall and ask them to place these items in the designated recycling box. Do it on your way to class or when you are heading to the front door to retrieve your late night food delivery. The Department of Housing & Residence Life will do the rest.

What? You do not live on campus. Then feel free to drop your donated items by the Housing & Residence Life Office in the lower level of Newell Hall (we are next to the Den). We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

There are 17,000 students attending Towson University. Imagine what an impact you can have in this recycling effort.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Housing & Residence Life Office at 410-704-2516.

Thanks for your support.
