All international female students are invited to attend the International Women’s Group meeting on Monday, November 1, 5:00 p.m., Linthicum Hall, Room 109. The Women’s Group is hosting guest speaker, Deb Mendelson, breast cancer survivor and local leader for the Maryland Young Survival Coalition. She is also the Program Coordinator for the Breast Friends program, a support group for young women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. It is funded through the Susan G. Komen Foundation and a partnership between LifeBridge Health and Young Suvivor’s Coalition of Maryland.
Ms. Mendelson will share her survival story and raise awareness about detection.
