After this date, you may still purchase your permit through the mail (if you have a local mailing address) or in person at the Auxiliary Services Business Office.

Additional parking information may be found at the Parking Web site: {http://parking.towson.edu}.

FRESHMAN RESIDENT STUDENTS PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW

A LIMITED NUMBER OF FRESHMAN RESIDENT PARKING PERMITS MAY BE ISSUED IF SPACE BECOMES AVAILABLE. FRESHMAN RESIDENT STUDENTS MUST FOLLOW THE PROCESS BELOW OR THEY WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO POSSIBLY OBTAIN A PARKING PERMIT.

Freshman resident students should NOT send an application and payment at this time. Students who register on a first-come, first-served basis may be granted the opportunity to purchase a parking permit if space becomes available. In order to be eligible to obtain a parking permit, freshman residents must register on the waitlist, via e-mail at {waitlist@towson.edu} (This is not a Web page). The waitlist will open at 9 a.m. EST on Monday, Aug. 1. PHONE CALL REQUESTS AND MAILED REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Freshman resident students should e-mail their name and student ID number requesting placement on the freshman permit waitlist. Parking Services, within 1-2 business days, will confirm receipt of your registration via return e-mail. Please do not call about the status of permits or your place in line on the waitlist. We will notify you if and when you become eligible to purchase a permit.

Freshman students who do not register for the waitlist as instructed will not be eligible to obtain a parking permit, should one become available. If a permit becomes available and you do not purchase the permit, it will be given to the next individual on the waitlist and you will need to resubmit your request to be added to the waitlist again.

Freshman resident students will be notified by e-mail if a permit becomes available for purchase. Since only a limited number of permits will be available, freshmen resident students MAY NOT bring a car to campus unless they have been notified they are eligible for a permit AND have purchased a permit.
