Does one of your classes require you to make a poster for academic purposes? Do you feel at a loss for how to accomplish this task? If so, sign up for Poster Production 101, a workshop designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the design and printing process.
Poster Production 101 for Students
Friday, May 6: 10-11:30 a.m., Cook Library Room 3
The most effective posters result from careful consideration of purpose, design and technical factors. The workshop will address questions such as:
– Why should I make a poster instead of . . . . ?
– What will I need to make a poster?
– How can Student Computing Services help me?
– How should I lay out my content?
Please note: Student Computing Services maintains a large-format printer for poster production purposes. However, large-format printing supplies and materials are quite expensive; participants will not print ?practice? posters during the workshop.
