Student Parking Permit Pre-Sales for Towson Homecoming, Saturday, Oct. 14

In an effort to improve traffic flow and better serve students, Parking Services will be pre-selling parking permits for lots 14 and 13, the student tailgating lots. Permits will be sold at the Ticket Office located in the University Union, beginning Thursday, Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. The Ticket Office hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Permits will be limited and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Students may only purchase one parking permit each.

Vehicles arriving to the stadium area at noon on game day, Saturday, Oct. 14, will be directed to the available spaces in lot 14 and then lot 13. Individuals wishing to park next to each other must arrive at the lot at the same time. Spaces will not be left open and cannot be held for other parkers. Please help us to ensure a smooth flow of traffic by following the direction of staff at the lots.

As a reminder, parking in lots 13, 14, 19, 20, 21 and 21a will be restricted during football games. Lots will be closed at 10 p.m. on Friday evening and will re-open at noon Saturday, three hours prior to game time on Saturday. Please follow the signs and directions of staff that will be on site during the event.

As this is Homecoming, there will be a high demand for parking at the Towson Center. We expect these lots to sell out prior to the beginning of the game. Parking Services recommends that if you do not have a pre-paid permit, you leave your car on the main campus and take the shuttle to the stadium area. Shuttle buses will run approximately every 15 minutes, from noon until one hour after the game ends. Free parking will be available on the core campus, with the largest number of spaces in the garages.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience. If you have any questions, please visit our Web site at {http://parking.towson.edu}.
