The H/O Web application located at {http://tuweb.towson.edu} will be retired on Tuesday, Dec. 20 due to low utilization and high maintenance requirements.
OTS recommends two alternatives to this Web application:
– Citrix ({http://www.towson.edu/citrix}): The Citrix environment will allow you full access to H and O drives in a traditional desktop environment
– VPN ({http://wwwnew.towson.edu/adminfinance/ots/coretechsecurity/infosecvpn.asp}): Anyone can VPN into the Towson University network, and manually connect to file shares on the GOLD server. This option is for clients who are familiar with how to manually connect to a share.
Self-help documents are available for both Citrix and VPN at {http://wwwnew.towson.edu/adminfinance/ots/training/techdocs.asp}. In the index, select the ?TowsonU from Home? link. Some applicable self-help documents include:
