Attention Faculty: Preparing to Use Online Services for End-of-Semester Tasks

The Office of Technology Services would like to remind all faculty about accessing Online Services for class rosters and posting grades. Some of the most common questions received by OTS at this time of year involve password resets and expired passwords.

If you have not logged into your TowsonU account in some time, the following information will assist you in preparing for end-of-semester tasks.

Forgot Your Password? Password Expired? Need to Change Your Password?
1. Go to {http://inside.towson.edu}.
2. In the Resources menu on the left, click Academic & Instructional.
3. Click Grade Rosters.
4. At the Secure Login page, see the For Faculty/Staff box. Two links are available: Change Your Password and Forget Your Password? (The Forget Your Password? link MUST be used if your password has expired.) Click the appropriate link and then enter the information requested. Verify your birth date and click the radio button to choose ?TU ID? or ?Last Four Digits of Social Security Number.?

Need Help?
OTS maintains a listing of frequently asked questions and help sheets about grades, class rosters, etc. To access the listing from any Web browser:
1. Go to {http://inside.towson.edu}.
2. In the Help box click on Online Services Resources to access the page titled Online Services Resources & Training Materials.
3. Search the list for ?Faculty? or ?Faculty/Advisor? topics to find the appropriate help.

If you continue to have problems please contact the OTS Help Center at 410-704-5151 or {helpcenter@towson.edu}.

OTS recommends running through these tasks now to avoid potential problems during the end-of-semester crunch. This particularly applies to adjunct faculty who do not log into Online Services as often as full-time faculty. For example, your password may have expired, so we encourage you to reset your password now.
