ACCESS CLASSES
Advanced Forms – Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Take the Advanced Forms class to minimize data entry error and make your forms more user-friendly by including list boxes, combo boxes, check boxes, buttons, calculations and sub forms. Learn the tricks to linking these options to the data in your tables for accuracy and to avoid program ?bugs? that could hamper your results. (Prerequisite: Targeting Data with Queries)
Reporting the Facts – Friday, Dec. 5, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Reporting the Facts will teach you how to lay out your data in a format that conveys information clearly, concisely and professionally. (Prerequisite: Targeting Data with Queries)
Macros – Friday, Dec. 12, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
In the Macros class you will learn to define macros and events, create a macro and run it. (Prerequisite: experience with Access databases, including tables, queries, forms and reports)
INTRODUCTORY CONCEPTS TO PROJECT MANAGEMENT – Monday, Dec. 8, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Learn about the life and cycle of a project. Apply project-planning techniques and identify pitfalls that could make your project stray from its original timeline and goals. PUBLISHER CLASSES
Publication Design – Tuesday, Dec. 9, 9 a.m. – noon
Use the wizard to create newsletters, brochures or flyers in a snap. Discuss layout and design considerations. (Prerequisite: basic Windows skills)
Graphics and Formatting – Tuesday, Dec. 16, 9 a.m. – noon
Continue your publishing experience by customizing objects, formatting text and adding special effects and tables. (Prerequisite: Publication Design)
OUTLOOK CLASS
E-mail and Calendar Basics – Thursday, Dec. 11, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Cover the overall processes of sending and organizing e-mail. (Prerequisite: basic Windows skills)
TARGETED LEARNING SESSION
Schedule a 45-minute one-on-one session for help with specific topics or to explore a general topic. Please bring your own files to work on.
