The Maryland Department of Budget and Management?s Employee Benefits Division will be processing 2004 payment coupons for all Direct Pay employees (contingent staff, lecturers and part-time faculty) who are currently enrolled in benefits for 2003 once their December ?03 premium is posted and as long as they (DBM EBD) have contract dates that carry into 2004. Any Direct Pay employees who have fulfilled these criteria but do not receive their 2004 payment coupons by Thursday, December 18 should contact the TU Benefits Unit to confirm their enrollment status.
Part-time faculty members whose current contracts end in December and who wish to continue with their MD state benefits in 2004 should have their department chair confirm the new 2004 contract date(s), along with their names and Social Security numbers, via email to either Dave Curtis or Gail Price. This must be done in order to receive new payment coupons and continue with MD state benefits in 2004.
