Benefits Bulletin: Aflac Supplemental Insurance Available to Faculty and Staff!

In an effort to offer additional value added benefits to faculty and staff employees, the Office of Human Resources is pleased to announce that all faculty and staff are now eligible to enroll on a direct pay basis in a variety of supplemental insurance options offered by Aflac.

Aflac pays all benefits to you and can be used to reduce or eliminate the financial impact of deductibles, co-pays, out of network charges and loss of income while recuperating from an accident or illness regardless of any traditional medical insurance coverage.

Representatives from Aflac will be presenting the details of these plans at several separate presentations scheduled on the following days:

Thursday, July 29: 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 4: 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Friday, August 6: 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

All sessions will be held in the Administration Building, Room 120 and will last approximately one hour. While pre-registration is not required, anyone planning to attend any of the sessions should email their intention to {dcurtis@towson.edu} in order to assure adequate seating.

Additional materials will be available at the sessions or upon request from the TU OHR Benefits Unit.
