Information on Administrative Leave & Time Sheet Completion Due to Inclement Weather

This is a message from the Office of Human Resources in reference to the university opening at 10:00 a.m. due to inclement weather on Friday, Feb. 6.

Administrative Leave has been granted to Regular Staff, Librarians, and 12 Month Faculty from 6 a.m. to 9:59 a.m., Friday, Feb. 6.

Regular Staff, Librarians, & 12 Month Faculty should record leave code ADMU in the Leave Code section and their normally scheduled hours in the Leave Hours section on the time sheet for the aforementioned period of administrative leave.

Employees who were already scheduled off for Feb. 6 are not granted Administrative Leave. They must use their own earned leave. Additionally, staff who chose not to report when the University opened late, must use their own earned leave for the entire day.

Emergency Essential Personnel (usually only certain Facilities Management and Police employees) will be paid for hours worked in addition to receiving straight time Administrative Leave pay for their scheduled hours for the Administrative Leave period.

Non-Emergency Essential Personnel who worked prior to 10:00 a.m. will not be granted additional compensation for those hours.
