Call for Proposals: Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs

Each year faculty members from a variety of departments lead short-term study abroad programs overseas. In the past year programs were offered in Cuba, England, Scotland, Mexico, and Greece covering topics ranging from Corporate Communications to Spanish language.

Interested in developing your own short-term program? An information session for interested faculty members will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 @ 4:00 p.m. in Room 244 in the Administration Building The session will include a review of the proposal process, how to design a successful short-term program, pre-departure planning and recruiting, how to market your program, and pre-departure and on-site responsibilities. Former faculty leaders will be present to give advice about their experiences. If you are unable to attend the information session, please contact Study Abroad Director, Adam Grotsky {agrotsky@towson.edu} to make an individual appointment.

The Study Abroad Office is currently accepting proposals for faculty-led programs for the Minimester 2006 and Summer 2006 sessions. Proposals should be submitted to the Study Abroad Office by March 1, 2005.
