Registration season is upon us. As you know all first year students and all first semester transfer students have an assigned faculty advisor in either the First Year Experience Program or the TransAM Program. These students have electronic hold flags on their accounts that prevent them from registering for spring classes until their advisors removes them. On occasion the SIS portion of People Soft fails to work properly and advising holds re appear after the advisors have removed the restriction.
Please inform your faculty and staff that if they encounter a student with this problem they or the student should call the Academic Advising Center at 45125 and someone will be available to assist them. This phone is continuously staffed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday until the end of the registration period.
