New payroll deductions for FY 2012 Maryland State group insurance benefits for regular 26 pay employees are scheduled to occur in the July 20, 2011 paycheck. Employees must carefully review that paystub to confirm that their benefits and deductions are accurate based on any activity during the recent Open Enrollment period. Faculty members who are being switched from 21 pay to 26 pay status as of August 10, 2011 will see the first new deductions from their August 31, 2011 paycheck.
Direct Pay employees (contingent staff, lecturers and part-time faculty members) whose new contract dates were sent to TU?s OHR before the end of June should have received their new payment coupons reflecting their FY 2012 coverage. Any Direct Pay employees who have not yet received their new coupons should call the Maryland State Department of Budget and Management Employee Benefits Division (EBD) at 410-767-4775, option #2, to check on the status of their coupons.
