As Towson University has grown, so has the number of grants and contracts submitted to the Office of University Research Services (OURS), making this office one of the busiest places on campus. Grants tend to cluster around specific deadlines, complicating the logistics of grant processing even more. I am asking that all grants and contracts be submitted to OURS with final budgets and all appropriate chair and dean approvsl/signatures, no less than five (5) business days prior to the grant/contract deadline. The staff of OURS does an excellent job meeting the needs of the campus and, as always, will do everything they can to ensure all of your submissions are processed in a timely fashion and meet the deadline. However, unless the OURS staff have the time to do the work they need to do, we cannot guarantee grants submitted to OURS less than five business days prior to the deadline will be submitted to the appropriate agency.
