Brown Bag Lunch: “Honors Course Development”

All faculty and staff are invited to participate in an Honors College Brown Bag Lunch discussion entitled ?Honors Course Development? on Tuesday, November 11th from 12:30 to 1:45 in 300 Stephens Hall.

Faculty and staff who have taught or are interested in teaching an Honors College course are encouraged to attend. Honors College Faculty will share their experiences in teaching Honors College courses and seminars. The Honors College Dean and Assistant Dean will also facilitate discussion on the following topics.

? What is an Honors seminar?
? What makes an Honors seminar unique?
? How do syllabi differ for honors classes? (Current or past honors faculty are encouraged to bring a copy of their honors class syllabus.)
? How do I develop a course for the Honors College?

Enjoy some refreshments while you learn more about the Honors College and how you can participate in the Honors College community. You are welcome to bring your lunch. The Honors College will provide desserts and beverages.
