Federal Work Study 311T Forms Required

Please be aware that NEW 311T forms must be submitted to the Payroll Office for any student worker being paid from Federal Work Study (FWS) funds. The availability of FY09 federal work study funds ends with the final payroll of FY09 and starts over again with a new award July 1st. All FWS budgets are inactivated as part of the fiscal year end process. This means that starting in July your student?s earnings will be charged to your department budget if a 311T form is not received by the Payroll Office directing the student?s earnings be charged against a FWS award. Please add the word ?Recertification? in the remarks section of the 311T for speedy identification and processing by the Payroll Office.
