The 2019 health benefit rates remain the same with the exception of minor increases with Kaiser Permanente and Delta Dental. Kaiser rates increased 4.5% and Delta increased less than 1%.
Regular faculty and staff enjoy an excellent benefits package and the University provides a generous subsidy toward the bi-weekly cost of medical, prescription, and dental benefits. The subsidy for medical plans range between 80-85%, depending upon the plan selected. The subsidy for prescription drug coverage is 80% and dental is 50% of the cost.
