Experience classroom teaching within the beautiful setting and cultural surroundings of Italy with Towson University in Minimester 2019. Experience life as an educator in an international school in Vicenza and immerse yourself in the culture and lives of Italian teachers and students. Learn firsthand how integrating art into instruction can enhance your teaching and gain experience that will contribute to your teacher education program.
Participants will spend time in Vicenza, Florence, and Venice. Highlights include meeting with teachers at a school in Italy, guest lectures, and visits to world famous museums in Florence and historic landmarks and museums in Venice.
Course: Students will enroll in either SCED 341 Principles of Secondary Education (4 credits) or MSED 342 Principles of Middle Level Education (4 credits). TU students may receive Honors credit for their study abroad experience.
