Study abroad with TU in Minimester 2019! Get an international perspective on career development and the workplace in London. Gain skills to understand your role in the world of work, explore concepts related to successful career choices, and begin to take action toward achieving satisfactory life planning. This program allows participants to engage with employers across a variety of industries through site visits, mock interviews, and job shadowing that will aid in career development and challenge you to grow as a professional.
The program features visits to companies and organizations in London and guest lectures from industry experts on career related topics. Cultural highlights include visits to Westminister Abbey and the Tower of London, a flight on the London Eye, a day trip to Bath and Stonehenge, and a West End theatre performance.
Course: GENL 121 Personal Life and Career Planning (2 credits). Students may receive Honors credit for their study abroad experience.
